On November 15, 2008 Duke received the award for Studio Engineer of the Year at the Hamilton Music Awards. The award was for his work on the Teenage Head with Marky Ramone Album. Duke said, “It was a great honour to work on this project, along side Ramone’s producer Daniel Rey, as I have been a big fan of both Teenage Head and The Ramones since I was a youngster. Many thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way, especially Dan Achen and Glen Marshall, who showed me the ropes and gave me a place to hone my skills.”
